Reba Stanley grew up in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, where she developed a life–long love for the arts and first came to know her Savior Jesus Christ. Reba visits her hometown quite often, where her family and life–long friends still live.
Reba is also a professional artist who has worked in various mediums of paint and color. Taking private art lessons from one of Kentucky’s most well known artist, Virginia Cummins, Reba’s love for art and creativity grew. She says visual artwork is, and always will be, in her blood but writing is the form of art she has found to be the most rewarding. With paint, she creates a picture you can see with the eyes, yet with words, she paints a picture you see with your mind’s eye. With her writing, Reba expresses different stories that are fictional, but always adds one unchanging truth, and that is her love for, and dependence on, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Reba and her husband of over thirty-five years reside in beautiful Brentwood, Tennessee with their four children and the family dog. While the Lord has taken them to live in other areas of the country, Tennessee is where Reba calls home, and on this side of heaven, there is no other place she would rather be.
“Because your love is better than life, my lips shall glorify you.”
